Signage: Placement Needs

Signage: Placement Needs

We have reached the final stage of signage selection. So far, we have covered steps 1-3; message, material, and size. Now, we are left with the final step, placement. You will need to know the placement of your sign before ordering, this information dictates the final features for mounting, hanging, or sticking the sign.

For this step you will need to know, first, physically where the sign will be. This may be a wall, door, post, fence, window, vehicle, etc. Second, you will need to know whether you will be mounting, hanging, or sticking the sign. Finally, as you will have already decided in previous steps, you will need to know whether the sign will be permanent or removable.

All of this information leads us to decide whether your sign will have holes drilled for mounting, adhesive backing for sticking, grommets for hanging, or any other feature related to the physical act of posting the sign.

In the context of signage selection, this is a relatively quick and easy step, so long as you know where your sign will be posted. So, as you begin this process, it is important that this small but essential detail is not overlooked.

Overall, sign selection is not difficult, but it is most effective when taking all of the minor details into account. Be sure to check out our previous sign selection blogs and reach out to us with any questions at 919-602-2503 or marketing@safetypackonline.com.
